BIO
I'm 34years old and have been cross fitting 10 years now. I was an athlete my whole life and really enjoyed it. I attended Cal State Hayward and got my degree in Kinesiology. Once I graduated from college I started gaining weight and I became sedentary. That is when I decided I wanted to be a personal trainer. I hated my body and I hated the way I felt. I wanted to help women get in shape so I got hired as a trainer at 24 hour fitness. I had great success as a trainer but I knew there was more for me. There had to be a better way to motivate my clients. I soon heard about Crossfit and everything changed. I didn't know what it was but after I walked or should I say crawled away from my first class, I knew I would never go back to regular training. I've been a crossfit coach at CSA GYM now for 5 years. I Couldn't be happier there. We have built an amazing supportive community and family there.
My training will vary depending on whats going on or the group we can get together. I do 2 hours of olympic lifting in the mornings then work then i go back to the gym in the eventing for some crossfit. My goal is just to stay consistent with my training and build strength and confidence as I go. It's all about finding a group of like minded individuals and feeding off each others energy. For me, the fun in crossfit is the community aspect. Its working out with friends and pushing each other to be stronger and faster!
